Oguaa Omanhen Welcomes Cape Coast Mayor’s 8-Year Development Vision
On Tuesday, 11th August 2026, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, together with his entourage, paid a courtesy visit to the Emintsimadze Palace of the Oguaa Omanhen, Osabarima Dr. Kwesi Atta II.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Mayor and his entourage to brief His Majesty and other traditional leaders on the Cape Coast 8-Year Development Plan and the vision for transforming the Metropolis into a more vibrant, resilient and prosperous city.
His Majesty warmly received the Mayor and his delegation and expressed his support and appreciation for the initiatives and proposals aimed at driving meaningful development across Cape Coast.
The engagement further underscores the importance of collaboration between the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly and traditional authorities in advancing development and improving the lives of the people of Oguaa.
