In a bid to galvanize support for the upcoming 8-Year Development Plan Forum and Fundraising Initiative, the Mayor of Cape Coast, George Justice Arthur, has launched an extensive media tour to engage residents and stakeholders across the metropolis.

The tour commenced on Monday, February 23, and continued on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with the Mayor appearing on several radio stations, including Moulders FM, TW Radio, Akwaaba Radio, and Kastle FM. During these engagements, he shared insights into the vision and objectives of the 8-Year Development Plan, outlining key priority areas and calling for collective participation in the associated fundraising efforts.

The media outreach is set to continue throughout the week, with additional visits to selected stations across the metropolis. The tour will culminate on Saturday morning with a special appearance on Coastal TV to further publicize the forum.

The 8-Year Development Plan Forum aims to chart a sustainable and inclusive growth trajectory for Cape Coast, and the Mayor emphasized his commitment to ensuring that every resident is informed, involved, and inspired to contribute to the city’s transformational agenda
