On Tuesday, 23rd June 2026, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, attended the launch of the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU)/Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI) Junior Chamber as the Special Guest of Honour.
The event brought together distinguished representatives from the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), the leadership of Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), members of academia, entrepreneurs, public sector officials, students, and other key stakeholders committed to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development.
Addressing participants, Hon. George Justice Arthur reaffirmed the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly's commitment to implementing the Cape Coast 8-Year Development Plan, highlighting entrepreneurship, business development, good governance, and sustainable development as critical drivers of the metropolis' socio-economic transformation.
The Mayor commended the collaborative initiative between CCTU and GNCCI, describing it as an important platform for nurturing the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. He encouraged young people to seize opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills, embrace innovation, and create businesses that generate employment and contribute to the sustainable growth and prosperity of Cape Coast and Ghana.
