Cape Coast Strengthens Investment Drive with Plan for Registrar of Companies Office
On 5th November 2025, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Registrar of Companies, Mrs. Maame Samma Peprah, in Accra.
The meeting comes on the heels of Mrs. Peprah’s earlier visit to the Mayor’s office in Cape Coast on 19th August 2025, underscoring the growing collaboration between the two offices.
Discussions centered on plans to establish a Registrar of Companies Office in Cape Coast, a strategic initiative expected to significantly improve access to business registration services within the metropolis and the wider Central Region. The proposed office is anticipated to streamline regulatory processes for entrepreneurs, stimulate local enterprise development, create sustainable employment opportunities, and enhance the city’s attractiveness to investors.
Both leaders described the engagement as productive and forward-looking, reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening institutional partnerships and driving business growth, investment promotion, and inclusive economic development in Cape Coast.
