Cape Coast MCE Hands Over Medical Equipment to Strengthen Healthcare Delivery
The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, on Friday, 9th October 2026, together with the Metro Coordinating Director, Mr. Asumah Adam Braimah, and the Advisor to the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South, Mr. Eric Ahianyo, officially handed over medical equipment to the Cape Coast Metro Health Directorate.
The equipment, received by the Metro Health Director, Dr. Samuel Kwabena Ofosu, is intended for installation at the Brofoyedur Health Centre, which was recently commissioned, and the newly established Kotokoraba Market Clinic.
The provision of the equipment forms part of efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and enhance service delivery across the Cape Coast Metropolis. It is expected to support healthcare professionals in providing more efficient, accessible, and quality medical services to residents.
The initiative reaffirms the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly’s commitment to improving healthcare facilities and promoting the well-being of residents through strategic investments in the health sector.
