On Wednesday, 17th June 2026, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, was officially inaugurated as a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Regional Development Commission (CEDECOM), alongside other distinguished appointees from across the Central Region.

The inauguration ceremony, held at the Central Regional Co-ordinating Council in Cape Coast, marked an important milestone in strengthening the Commission's mandate to promote sustainable development, economic growth, and regional transformation.
