In a significant boost to sports development and healthy living in Cape Coast, The Moulders Chapel International has officially inaugurated its ultramodern Moulders Sports Complex.
The facility, launched on Saturday, January 17, 2026, is a multi-purpose centre featuring a basketball court, volleyball court, as well as snooker and table tennis amenities, designed to promote recreational and competitive sports within the community.
The colourful ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Cape Coast, George Justice Arthur, who joined church leadership and members to mark the milestone. In a symbolic and light-hearted moment, the Mayor engaged in a friendly table tennis match with the General Overseer, Emmanuel Abeiku Aggrey, underscoring the spirit of unity, fellowship, and the importance of sports in community life.
The event featured thrilling sporting activities, including basketball exhibition matches involving teams from St. Augustine’s College and Adisadel College, as well as participation from retired basketball players. The presence of the Cape Coast Disabled Basketball Team further highlighted the inclusive vision of the initiative and the unifying power of sports.
The Moulders Sports Complex stands as a testament to the church’s commitment to youth development, healthy living, and community empowerment, positioning it as a key hub for sporting excellence in Cape Coast.
