400 Streetlights to Improve Visibility Across Cape Coast Communities
Efforts to improve community safety and urban development in Cape Coast have received a significant boost following a donation of streetlights to the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly.
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South, George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, presented 400 streetlights to the Mayor of Cape Coast, George Justice Arthur.
The streetlights are expected to be distributed to Assembly Members within the Cape Coast South Constituency to enhance visibility and improve security across various communities.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Assembly, Hon. Arthur expressed gratitude for the gesture, noting that the intervention will significantly support ongoing efforts to promote safety and accelerate development within the metropolis.
