Training Workshop on GHANEPS
From the 25th of July to 26th of July 2024, officials from the Public Procurement Authority (PPA) organized a training and sensitization programme on the use of GHANEPS, for the staff of the Procurement, Finance, Internal Audit and Budget & Ratings departments of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly.
The Ghana Electronic Procurement Systems (GHANEPS) is a web-based collaborative system, developed in accordance with the requirement of public procurement laws to facilitate public procurement processes in Ghana. The system supports the processes of procuring goods, works, consultancy, non-consultancy and disposal of assets.
Participants were led by Mr Tanko Aminu, who took trainees through the system on user registration, tender notification, tender preparation and submission, online tender evaluation, contract awarding, creation and management of catalogue, creation and management of framework agreement, auctions and payment.
