Patching of Potholes within the Metropolis
In pursuant of dealing with the issue of potholes within the Metropolis, tenders were opened for three (3) lots of Pothole Patching works on 10th February 2023. The Entity Tender Committee vetted and scrutinized the evaluation report which have been approved by Head Office, the Assembly issued an award letter to the contractors for the commencement of works on 12th May 2023.
Three (3) lots of Pothole Patching Works were carried out in the Metropolis to repair defects on the roads, improve safety and increase line span of roads. Areas patched included Cardinal A. Turkson Blvd (from Bakaano Roundabout to Pedu Junction), Town Hall Link, Thursday Market, King Aggrey Street, Social Welfare Street and Jukwa Road (from Pedu Junction to Abura Market).
