Mayor strengthens Partnerships with Visits
As part of his ongoing efforts to engage with key institutions, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur continued his series of institutional visits. He visited the following agencies to gain first-hand insight into their operations and challenges:
- Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) – Central Regional Headquarters
- Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) – Cape Coast North Office
- Department of Urban Roads (DUR) – Regional Office
- Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU)
- Ghana Highways Authority (GHA) – Regional Office
- National Identification Authority (NIA) - Antem Office –
The visits were aimed at understanding the specific challenges confronting these institutions and exploring collaborative solutions to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery within the metropolis.
Hon. Arthur highlighted the critical role these institutions play in supporting economic growth, trade facilitation, infrastructure development, and social services in Cape Coast. He emphasized the Assembly’s readiness to work closely with them to address operational constraints and develop strategies for improving their working conditions.
“Our collective success depends on strong collaboration. By working together, we can create a conducive environment for socio-economic development and enhance the quality of life for our people,” Hon. Arthur remarked.
The engagements provided an opportunity for open dialogue on priority projects, infrastructural needs, and service delivery improvements, reinforcing the Mayor’s vision of fostering a connected and progressive metropolis.
