Mayor Pays Working Visit to Efutu Community
The action-oriented Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, continued his community engagements with a working visit to the Efutu community yesterday. The visit aimed to assess firsthand the challenges facing the area and develop practical solutions to address them.
During the visit, Hon. Arthur inspected the community’s main market center, where he noted the urgent need for renovation and modernization to better serve traders and residents. He also toured other priority areas within Efutu to understand the infrastructural and service-related needs of the community.
As part of his engagements, the MCE met with the Queen Mother of Efutu and her elders, assuring them of the Assembly’s commitment to addressing the community’s challenges. He emphasized that the concerns raised had been duly noted and that strategic measures were being taken to improve infrastructure and enhance essential services in the area.
“The Efutu community is an integral part of the Cape Coast Metropolis, and it is our responsibility to ensure its development. The Assembly will work diligently to address the issues identified and improve the living conditions of residents,” Hon. Arthur stated.
The visit reflects the Mayor’s hands-on approach to leadership and his dedication to inclusive and participatory development across the Metropolis.
