Mayor Inspects Site for New Kindergarten Block at St. Nicholas Anglican School

On Thursday, 18th September 2025, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, accompanied by the Assembly Member for the Adisadel Electoral Area and officials from the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, undertook a working visit to St. Nicholas Anglican Primary School.

The visit was aimed at inspecting the parcel of land designated for the construction of a new Kindergarten (KG) block — a critical intervention, as the school currently lacks dedicated classrooms for early learners.

This project forms part of a joint initiative between the Member of Parliament for Cape Coast South, Hon. George Kweku Ricketts-Hagan, and the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly. The goal is to provide a conducive and modern learning environment that nurtures the foundation of education from the earliest stages.

The inspection reflects the Assembly’s ongoing commitment to strengthening early childhood education and ensuring that every child in Cape Coast begins their learning journey with the right support, facilities, and opportunities to thrive.
