CCMA Celebrates Mothers in Cape Coast on Mother’s Day

In commemoration of Mother’s Day, the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, has extended heartfelt appreciation to all mothers for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to society. In his message, Hon. Arthur highlighted the critical role mothers play not only within their families but also in the broader community, nurturing future generations and fostering the values that build strong, resilient societies. “Today, we celebrate the extraordinary sacrifices, unconditional love, and boundless care that mothers provide — not only to their biological children but to every child who looks up to them for guidance and protection,” he said. The Mayor emphasized that mothers are the true pillars of families and communities, whose dedication directly impacts the social and economic development of Cape Coast. On behalf of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Arthur expressed his profound gratitude, acknowledging the tireless efforts of mothers who balance family responsibilities with active participation in community development and the local economy. “As we mark this special day, I say Ayekoo to all mothers. May God continue to bless you, keep you, and make His face shine upon you,” he added. This message reflects the Assembly’s recognition of the vital role mothers play in shaping a better future for Cape Coast and Ghana at large.
