CCMA Celebrates 67th Independence Day
On 6th March, 2024, Ghana celebrated its 67th Independence Anniversary. Like many districts across the country, the Metropolis of Coast held its ceremony at the famous Victoria Park. In attendance was the Paramount Chief of Oguaa Traditional Council, Osaberima Kwesi Atta IV, the Central Regional Minister, Mrs Justina Marigold Assan, Metropolitan Chief Executive, Hon. Ernest Arthur and heads of various security agencies within the district.
Also, the Metropolitan Asssembly in collaboration with the Metropolitan Education Service awarded deserving personalities from the district. A few of the awardees from the various categories included Mr. Nicholas Ato Mensah (Overall Best Pupil Teacher 2023), Mr. Addo James Kofi Ansah (Overall Best Male Public School Candidate for 2023 BECE), Miss Ofosu Wilhermina Adzoa Peity (Overall Best Female Public School Candidate for 2023 BECE), and Wesley Girls Basic School (Overall Best School) among others.
