Addressing participants at the launch, the Mayor commended Cape FM for its sustained commitment to the organisation and promotion of the carnival over the years. He noted that the Orange Friday Carnival has evolved beyond entertainment into an important platform for promoting tourism, strengthening community engagement, stimulating local economic activity, and encouraging social responsibility.

Hon. George Justice Arthur reaffirmed the commitment of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly to supporting initiatives that preserve and promote the city’s rich cultural identity while creating opportunities for economic growth, unity, and prosperity.

He further encouraged stakeholders, residents, businesses, and visitors to continue supporting the carnival and other cultural initiatives that contribute to positioning Cape Coast as a leading destination for tourism and cultural experiences.
