Cape Coast Mayor Graces Colleges of Education Sports Festival
Later on Friday afternoon, 3rd October 2025, the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, together with his team, made an appearance at the 12th Biennial Sports Festival of the Colleges of Education, held at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
The vibrant event brought together student-athletes and representatives from Colleges of Education across Ghana to compete, network, and celebrate the unifying spirit of sports.
In his remarks, Hon. George Justice Arthur commended the organizers, participating institutions, and students for their dedication and enthusiasm, emphasizing that sports play a vital role in building discipline, teamwork, and leadership among future educators.
He further noted that such events not only promote physical fitness but also strengthen bonds of friendship and cooperation across the country’s teacher education institutions.
