On Saturday, 4th October 2025, the Mayor of Cape Coast, Hon. George Justice Arthur, joined the St. Augustine’s Past Students Union (APSU) 2005 Year Group (2G5) to commission a newly renovated and remodeled four-bedroom apartment for St. Augustine’s College.
The project, which involved extensive renovation and modernization works, stands as a remarkable demonstration of the commitment, unity, and generosity of the 2005 Year Group in giving back to their alma mater. It underscores the enduring spirit of the APSU fraternity and their dedication to improving educational infrastructure and staff welfare at one of Ghana’s premier institutions.
In his remarks, Hon. George Justice Arthur commended the group for their exceptional contribution to education and for setting a worthy example of alumni-driven development. He reaffirmed the Assembly’s unwavering support for initiatives that enhance the quality of education and promote sustainable development across the Metropolis.
The commissioning ceremony brought together school authorities, old boys, and community members who celebrated the successful completion of the project — a testament to what can be achieved when past students unite to invest in the future of their institution.
