Implementation Committee Begins Work on Cape Coast 8-Year Plan

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the Special Committee tasked with overseeing the implementation of the 8-Year Development Plan for Cape Coast convened its maiden meeting at the Mayor’s Conference Room of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly (CCMA).

The meeting, chaired by Nana Sam Brew-Butler, brought together Development Plan holders and key stakeholders to formally commence the execution phase of the city’s long-term transformation agenda.

Discussions centered on establishing clear strategies, governance structures, and monitoring frameworks to ensure the effective and timely delivery of projects outlined in the 8-Year Development Plan. The Plan is designed to accelerate socio-economic growth, strengthen infrastructure development, promote investment, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents of Cape Coast.
